Four classes of heart failureSymptoms | Diagnose |Heart failure is a progressive disease that is divided into four classes, according to the New York Heart Association (NYHA) These are the four classes: *Class 1 - If you have Class 1 heart failure you will have no limitation of activities. You won't experience symptoms from ordinary activities. *Class 2 - If you have Class 2 heart failure you will have mild limitation of activity. You are comfortable with rest or mild exertion. *Class 3 - If you have Class 3 heart failure you will have marked limitation of activity and be comfortable only at rest. *Class 4 - You should be at complete rest, confined to bed or chair; any physical activity brings on discomfort and symptoms occur at rest.
