Skin Care

People with diabetes often have trouble with dry skin, since the body loses fluid when blood glucose is high. Dry skin often leads to cracking, which is a problem because germs can enter the cracks and cause infection. Therefore it's important to keep your skin moisturized and intact. While any dry skin lotion will be of benefit, there are products specially formulated for people with diabetes.
