Enjoy the Holidays!

Holidays are hectic times of the year - with a lot of extra activity and temptations. But keeping your blood glucose under control is still vitally important, and doing so will help you enjoy the holidays to their fullest.

If you'll be partying, plan ahead to accommodate for party food and beverages. Some treatment methods allow wide flexibility in the timing and size of meals. Check with your diabetes team to determine whether these methods apply to you. If not, stick to your regular patterns in eating and activity as much as possible.
